Yes, it’s been a while since my last post, and while I regret not sharing all of it, I don’t regret a minute of what’s been going on in my life.

For those keeping score, I’ve had multiple model, writing and gardening projects on the go for some time now, with variable rates of progress due to a multitude of individual factors, but really all can be boiled down to:

TIME. 24 hours per day. Repeat until your last heartbeat, your last breath. In the end, time is our only TRUE enemy. Time enough for ourselves, our families, then our homes and their other occupants, plant, animal or otherwise, time for the rest of the world once those are tended to, and time to rest so we can carry on the next day.

Time is our enemy I think because of our own mortality; we all only have so much of it, and that final knell hanging over us all is part of what drives our madnesses, and I think many of us waste far too much of that precious time on the wrong things, or the wrong order, or the wrong people, and maybe we don’t all get to realize it soon enough, and don’t get enough time to be happy. Content. At peace with the universe.

So my time this last while has been spent on family, on friends, on myself and my return to work, and on myself. I’ve had adventures, more stories to add the the bank, so to speak, and I’ll continue to share them with you. Lots of changes to the garden, the greenhouse, my landscaping plans.
