• Bandai Millennium Falcon Kit #006

This Bandai kit of the Millennium Falcon was my first foray back into model making in almost 30 years and was also my submission to the Star Wars Model Makers (Facebook group) Out-Of-The-Box Build Contest for 2021/2022.

This model was completed as it came from the kit, as the rules stipulated- no modifications, lighting, etc to be used, so I chose a smaller model and concentrated on getting the ‘feel’ of how I pictured the Falcon sometime during her adventures between the movies Solo and ANH.  Mostly Vallejo and Tamiya paints, all details brush painted by hand, replacing use of the kit sticker sheet.  Final clear coat of Tamiya X-35 Semi-Gloss Clear.
